THREE Huddersfield Giants academy players will be making the step up to the first team after signing full-time contracts with the Super League club.
Lewis Bottomley, Stan Hobson and Jude Jackson have all signed professional deals with Huddersfield.
Head of youth Steve Fox said: “They all came through the Siddal junior system, so I want to say a huge thank you to everyone at the club for the support they have given us and the wider Giants youth programme.
“All three players are very different in terms of their styles and strengths, but they have each made a significant contribution to our youth programme.
“Lewis has worked incredibly hard over the last four years to improve his game and is now starting to show the true potential that our scouts and I recognised when he first joined the programme.
“Stan has had an outstanding season and was recognised at our academy presentation, picking up the HGSA Top Tackler award, Players’ Player and Coaches’ Player.
“Jude has also continued to progress and has recently earned selection for the Yorkshire Origin squad, which is another fantastic achievement. All three players have signed two-year deals with the first team.”
