Ryan Brierley is heading back to Leigh Centurions.
TotalRL understands the Toronto halfback has agreed to become a Leyther for a third time after the clubs came to terms on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Brierley, 27, returned to LSV earlier this season on a one-month loan deal and scored five tries in four games, including two in their Summer Bash victory over Widnes.
He is the club’s fifth all-time leading try-scorer after an incredible first spell at the club that saw him bag 133 tries in just 125 games.
His return to the club will come as a huge boost to John Duffy, whose side are joint second in the Championship after an excellent season.
Brierley has struggled to cement himself in Brian McDermott’s plans this season, being restricted to five appearances, with four of those being off the bench.
But he will now return to the club where he made a name for himself many years ago, with an eye on helping the Centurions secure promotion back to Super League ahead of his current employers.
