Bulls complete Haggerty signing

Bradford Bulls have completed the signing of Kurt Haggerty from fierce Championship rivals Leigh.

The 26-year-old second-rower made 19 appearances for the Centurions last season, scoring four tries.

An Ireland international, Haggerty had spent time with Widnes Vikings and Barrow Raiders before joining Leigh on a season-long loan in 2014. His switch became permanent, signing a two-year deal with the ambitious Championship side at the start of last season, however he haws now left the Centurions after just one year of his contract.

“We are delighted to have Kurt on board,” said the Bulls managing director, Steve Ferres.

“He had a great season at Leigh last year and he’ll add competition amongst the back row.”
