Bulls quash speculation over winding-up petition issued against them

Championship side Bradford Bulls and club officials have issued a statement concerning a winding-up petition that was launched against the club on Friday morning.

The Bulls say that the petition has been incorrectly lodged against them, and that the Bulls’ legal advisors are already underway with getting the notice removed.

The statement said: “BRADFORD Bulls officials have moved to quash speculation concerning a winding-up petition launched against it this morning.

“The club was today informed of such information being published on The Gazette Official Public Record and our legal advisors have begun the process of having the notice removed.

“It is our understanding the petition has been incorrectly lodged against the company,” said chairman Marc Green.

“Our solicitors are now dealing with this and we expect to see the matter resolved – and the winding-up petition removed – imminently.””
