Castleford have been handed a boost after Oli Holmes’ ankle injury has proven not to be as bad as feared.
The back-rower was helped from the field in the club’s defeat to Warrington at the weekend and was on crutches after the game.
However, despite scans showing ligament damage, it isn’t as severe as initially thought and he should be fit to return in a few weeks.
