Castleford secured their tenth straight win over local rivals Wakefield after picking up a 24-4 victory.
Greg Minikin’s try and three Luke Gale penalties opened up a 10-0 lead for the Tigers, with Tyler Randell’s try just before the break cutting the arrears to six.
Gale didn’t return in the second-half, but after Wakefield controversially had a try ruled out by the video referee, Cas took control as Adam Milner and Jamie Ellis both crossed.
