Sheffield Eagles have continued their recruitment drive with the arrival of St Helens hooker Matty Fozard.
The 20-year-old has penned a two-year-deal with the South Yorkshire side after failing to establish himself at the Super League giants.
Fozard is primarily known for playing as hooker, which is where he made his debut for Saints in 2014.
“We are really excited to have Matty on board, he is someone that we are really looking forward to working with,” Aston told the club’s official website

“He is tough but with a wide range of skills and he is someone that we really think that we can bring on,”
He is Sheffield’s third signing of the off-season following the arrivals of George Tyson and Adam Neal from Oldham last week.
