Welsh winger Elliot Kear has signed a contract extension at Bradford Bulls, keeping him in West Yorkshire until 2015.

The 24-year-old was on a two-year deal after signing from Crusdaers at the end of 2011. He has made 36 Super League appearances for the Bulls, scoring 12 tries.

Coach Francis Cummins, who praised Kear for his World Cup form, said: “Elliot has done fantastically well this year and is continuing to improve.

“I love the Bulls and it was a dream for me when I first came here. I am settled here now and am really enjoying myself, so I’m delighted to sign for another year.” – Elliot Kear

“We felt is was important to secure his services for another year, but the extended deal is really a reward for Elliot.”

Kear, who went to the same school as Real Madrid star Gareth Bale and British Lions captain Sam Warburton, said: “I am over the moon with the extension as it gives me a bit more security.
