Ferres applauds Bulls support

Bradford’s managing director Steve Ferres has paid testament to the Bulls faithful for their support through the club’s poor run of form.

The Bulls have won just one of their previous six matches and have lost back-to-back Championship games against Halifax and Sheffield.

Their latest defeat put increasing pressure on James Lowes, although it is understood that he isn’t about to leave the club.

Ahead of their match with Dewsbury, Ferres has thanked the fans for their continued support.

Ferres told the Telegraph and Argus: “The loyal support we get from the fans is outstanding and we are grateful for that.

“I’m sure there will be another big turn-out at Dewsbury on Sunday because the boys certainly appreciate the backing they receive.

“Even though the team is going through a sticky patch, we are confident we will emerge from it.

“Unlike any other game so far this season, we probably into Sunday’s game as underdogs because of the way we have been performing.

“It will be good to see how the boys react to that.”
