Jacob Kilbride's report on today's England Ladies game from Headingley is HERE. Personally I think Jacob does a great job on an extremely limited budget.

Four ladies teams are here. They received a civic welcome to the city yesterday. The NZ mens team had a civic reception in October. CLICKY

Full time whistle at Batley v Keighley on a Monday night next season followed swiftly by a few episodes of Nordic noir thriller Gåsmamman. What more could you possibly want from a streaming service? Absolutely elite. -
He also admitted in court to punching his wife in the face several times.

And good riddance.

Every U18 in Bradford can watch the Bulls for free
Gav Wilson replied to gingerjon's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
On a serious note it is a great move and should rightly be applauded. Fair play! -
According to Starbug they've gone after that elusive but lucrative 5 to7 year old market...

Their parents will, as will the teenagers.

Domestic Media Coverage
Gav Wilson replied to craig hamilton's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Thats very true, but to be fair the Sky Sports RL twitter account has been posting plenty about the tournament. -
So?

It's also extremely reflective of the wider society. Just because you dismiss it doesn't make it less important.
-
See, branding is important.
-
If he came out and said that straight away in the press conference last week rather than backtracking after the whole thing nosedived, folk would be plenty more understanding. York managed their rebrand to the same deadline and haven't had any of these issues. That's the whole point of the criticism.
-
This was not done by a professional.
-
This is the thing though - if it was executed with a bit more care and attention, it would be a lot easier to attract those potential new fans, and more of them too. I don't hate Leigh, I don't hate any club. I want every club to be the best version of itself that it can be. The game would be much better for it.
-
I'm not having sleepless nights, I'm happy to say when something is good or terrible though - I've done it on a range of subjects over the years! If the 'everyone hates us but we don't care, world's against us mentality' gets you through the day though, then you do you, champ.
-
It was a successful, clean rebrand.
-
Ah mate, you really need to read the room amongst your fanbase.
-
The rebrand has been roundly criticised by just about everyone in rugby league circles bar roughly 20% of Leigh fans and Martyn Sadler. If you're happy with it then fair enough. Others are allowed to call it out for what it is though - shambolic.
-
Whataboutery is completely pointless.
-
There are plenty of professional companies that offer this service. It's actually pretty standard stuff in most professionally done rebrands.
-
Me? What am I responsible for? Blowout scores happen in any league - Storm put 70 on the Tigers in the NRL this year. A 96 point loss was ###### but it is what it is, Leigh's squad cost 5 times what York's did. Leigh announced a lot of good stuff last week, but the rebrand was shambolic. York losing to them last season is completely irrelevant to that.
