You do know, don't you, that Corrie is a serial documentary? ?? Met the guy who played Albert Tatlock checked into the Strand Palace Hotel at the same time as me back in the late 1960s and was indistinguishable from the character he played. Audrey Roberts is Sue Nicholls-Eden. Her father was Sir Harmar Nicholls, later Lord Harmar-Nicholls, the former Conservative MP for Peterborough (1950–1974) and MEP for Greater Manchester South (1979–1984), and subsequently a life peer; she is thus entitled to be addressed as "The Honourable Susan Nicholls".

As a Station Road regular 1957 to 1966, my favourable shirt design too. Clean, simple design. If anything deserves the appellation "iconic", it's that shirt.

Film Thread (What have you been watching?)
JohnM replied to John Drake's topic in Any Other Business / Any Other Sports
This morning, in our hotel room in Mende, France. Shaun the Sheep... In French. Well, when I say in French, a sort of silent movie in French, plus one or two things in French where that could be done: restaurant menu, the odd signpost. Could not change the shop front that said Fish and Chips, or everyone driving on the left.... ? -
Book thread: what are you reading?
JohnM replied to Futtocks's topic in Any Other Business / Any Other Sports
Erebus: the story of a ship. Michael Palin. Excellent read so far, page 138. Based on the TV documentary. Recommended. -
That's not a rant, though.
