  1. You might be interested to know, if you don't already, that there's a Filey Bay whisky distillery now. They're actually based in Hunmanby but it's close enough. It's decent stuff too.
  2. Me and my Mrs have cycled the Cinder Track between Ravenscar and Whitby via Robin Hood's Bay. The views along the way are fantastic.
  3. The Brigg The Fisherman Sculpture The Coble Landing The view over Filey Bay Haddock and Chips
  4. The only thing I remember about the first game is a clearing kick by Gary Pearce going almost the full length of the field assisted by a near gale force wind blowing down the pitch.
  5. I remember a 13-3 very vividly. It was the score Hull beat Hull KR in the very last BBC Floodlit Trophy Final. Think you're right though. It's going to be higher than people think.
  6. There's been at least one. I saw Oldham beat Hull by that score on a filthy day at the Watersheddings back around 1980/81 time.
  7. The Wire v Hull 2-3 was on the RL show in the Granada region only at the time. Can't remember what it was called but recordings of the game were much sought after in this part of the world.
  8. You've got me wondering where she'd have to put it up to really surprise him.
  9. Looks like they bought a job lot from Primark and stuck a Wigan badge on them.
  10. See what you mean, both horrendous and brilliant at the same time.
  11. I was interested to know why it was called the "Augustus the Strong" cup. Makes sense if you google him.
  12. Count me in that number but we can't really complain about a commentator giving out the score of a rugby league international while commentating on a rugby league international.
  13. The technical reason is that there was separation between ball and hand and Whitehead didn't regain control of the ball.
  14. Another cracking try from England, great passing movement and support play.
