Dimmest Star posts far more regularly on Hull FC topics than that of his own club. As a Hull KR fan, he is obsessed with Hull FC. Shame really, I think it was a Wakey fan who once said of him on here, "All that bitterness can't be healthy", yet he still keeps on spouting it. Bless.

Any successful coach at Hull FC would ensure regular beatings of that West Yorkshire lot. Years ago, even when we were pants. we'd still beat Leeds.

Isn't he 55? Should he be looking for a retirement home? In my mind he's a perfect fit.

He still lives in East Yorkshire, he left our nearest rivals under a cloud, for the life of me, I can't think of anything that would attract him more.

My word, I'd love to see how he gets on here, at least the playing staff should all have respect for him. Unlike the last few coaches, sadly.

No other option for me, the way I felt when I left the game on Saturday I couldn’t see him being there any longer. I have attended all the fearful drubbings this season but my head hasn’t been on fire like it was after that shambles of a derby effort. Would love to see Tony Smith get the gig, he seems to be a man of principle and a decent coach, in spite of what others have said on here as soon as it was announced he was to leave his last job.

And the West Stand Upper is open so that would suggest a fair few in attendance.

Aside from local bragging rights there is absolutely nowt riding on this as two teams who have suffered with injuries and lack of form look towards the end of season so they can regroup and rebuild for 2023. So it must have been nice for Wigan and Saints to pretend theirs was the biggest derby last Friday.

Two and a half days and the WC, bath and WHB are all in new places and I think I've cured all the dripping compression joints. Now all I have to do is the bloody tiling...
