  1. to be made at half time during the Warrington game. Anybody any idea what this is going to be? Apparently they already know but can't say yet. How very mysterious!
  2. The only way that Wigan vs Saints could be classed as a Derby game is if they played it at Pride Park.... Seriously though, Hull vs Hull KR is the epitome of a derby, as is Sheff Utd vs Sheff Wed, Liverpool vs Everton, Bristol R****s vs Bristol City, etc, etc.. But I think you can lend the phrase to games like pies-skints because of the size of the game, their reasonably ( ) close proximity and the feelings between the two sets of fans....(not that they ever surface on here, obviously.)
  3. I can't contribute to this thread as I don't have a favourite team at the moment. Even the greatest World cup footballing nation on Earth get knocked out as soon as I draw them in the bloody sweep.
  4. I had no idea you'd sat next to Roy on a coach before as well....
  5. FORUM WARNING!!! If you have anything else to do this evening, other than watch this game, I strongly advise you to do it. Those annoying DIY jobs you've been putting off for ages, cleaning out the oven, watering the garden (except those of you over in Lancs, obviously ), just anything really, get it done. Trust me, at around 9.30, if you've been able to stomach the full 80 mins, you'll want that part of your life back.
  6. Coach now leaving Hull at 4pm. Common sense seems to have crept into the planning, although, to be fair, we were initially popping to a pub in Barnsley for some grub...Don't ask, I have no idea...
  7. You know as soon as they run out, who you'll be cheering for.
  8. Bit tactless of Sky to play "Money, that's what I want", when concentrating on a Hull KR open day.
  9. "Local Derby" Definition=A Rugby League match played in Kingston Upon Hull in the North East of England between two teams, one a group of heroes in black and white, the other a group of mainly Australians in red and white. There is no other Local Derby. So there you have it. (Retires to concrete bunker)
  10. It's a great shame we don't have a Cumbrian representative in Super League. One of our great traditional areas that should be encouraged as there's a wealth of talent up there.
  11. Dear God. Three weeks on the belt on Sky for us. As if people weren't aware enough how poor Hull FC are, Sky are going to show everyone.
  12. The train? After travelling on train to both Huddersfield and Bradford in the last few weeks, it looks like I'll be back on the coach for this one. Mind you, seeing as it's leaving Hull at 1.30 pm for an hour's journey with a 7.45 kick off, I may struggle to manage the bloody coach back... Wakey will have to be poor for us to win this one, although we usually do well there on Sky. Still, Wakey by 8.
  13. Rovers seem to be hitting form just in time for the derby. Think they may sneak this by a couple.
  14. Sorry mate, struggling with the relevance tbh.
  15. Completely agree. The list of threads is starting to look like a bloody spot the ball coupon down the left hand side. On a couple of occasions on here I've come close to having a pop at somebody after receiving mild abuse but have decided it's better to shake your head and just leave as good a parting shot as you can without stooping to their level.
  16. Sorry mate, already here. No need to advertise with another thread then?
  17. What...even when you're wearing shorts...
  18. tansey fields a bomb under his posts and runs 90 metres before passing to craig hall. 22-28.
  19. tickle strolls through and converts, 6-16. Kirk yeaman plucks an intercept from 30 yards out. 6-22.
  20. jordan tansey is a popular scores here as he strolls through the Bulls defence. 6-10.
  21. looked like a 0-0 draw until a loose pass to Tom Briscoe was made into summat good by him. 0-6 to Hull. Hull lose ball from kick off, Nero scores. 6.6.
  22. Senior has obstruction down to a fine art.
