widnes will be taking wakeys SL spot wakeys failure to fullfill their franchise promises leave them as the most likely club to be punted from SL and deservedly so i saw BV on TV a few nights ago, its an embarrasment

wigans coach knows how good these players are from his time at the storm all the players wigan are getting are far better than current imports wouldnt surprise me to see wigan dominating SL for the next few years with their current coach

dead set its worth 24 hours on a plane just to enjoy the hull derby at the kc hull kr should only be in SL for the derby game,, anything else they offer is a bonus im not saying wigan saints was bad, it was fantastic too.

hulls a nice place. much nicer than many other northern rl towns i visited leeds wasnt bad too, especially the bits ne showed me ie a bar

ive attended 1. hull fc vs kr at the kc 2. wigan vs saints at jjb 3. bradford vs leeds at odsal the hull derby was the best the 2nd best experience ive had at a RL game

is this thread still going? the flat earth society have made more posts advocating the return of P&R than they get a crowd at their home games.

yeah lets have english RL stay a small sport ignored by the major media because of forlorn notion the sport has as much money as soccer the boss of sale was quoted as saying he feared for their clubs future if they were relegated. this in a sport with millions more than league. if clubs cant get more than 800 to their home games that says how little people care about the game in their town

clubs just have to realize that to enter SL now they have to do more than have 1 good season on the field and win the Championship GF. on field success is only a small part of the franchise criteria.

the most succesful RL competition in the world was built on a closed shop. the NFL has no P&R. RL in england cant afford P&R either. for P&R to work you need lots of well funded and widely supported clubs RL doesnt have it

the only club currently outside SL which is a SL club is widnes. the rest all arent currently good enough for SL.

maybe 20 years ago they suffered a bad turn but today they arent a SL club. the talk of a new ground could change that.

the clubs that arent in SL deserve to be where they are if you average 2000 or less and have been around for a century or more, then that is pathetic the RFL shouldnt kill off its expansion plans for clubs like this

yeah if franchsing was in les cats would be relegated now. and barrow would be in SL ahead of widnes. i can see why you guys like franchising so much. the whole future of the sport should be based on one game.

good signing for warrington. they got him by outbidding wigan maybe that says that moran is keen to outdo wheelan. paid a bit too much to get him but thats what it took to outbid wigan / bradford with johns and king going to warrington, more good australian players will want to go there starting to look like a very good squad.
