Proper football started today - North Wilts Youth & Minor League and my lads team won 3-1 against their biggest rivals so one happy lad plus a happy dad! :-)
Watched Mainz 05 vs VFB Stuttgart and FC Schalke 04 vs SV Hamburg on BT Sports. The Bundesliga is great! First time since the 90's I've enjoyed a football match (well 2 actually) that didn't involve either Swindon Town or my lad.
Que Será, Será,
Whatever will be, will be,
I'm going to Wembley,
But only for the Challenge Cup Final and the Rugby League World Cup Semi-Final Double Header as Swindon Town lost to cheating, diving Brentford on penalties!
Last night Paolo Di Canio resigned as Swindon Town manager. Today some bookies have him favourite to become the next manager of....
....Swindon Town.
Never a dull moment at my club. A win tonight and we go top. Come on Town!
Back to real football - The Mighty Swindon Town
Last 3 matches
Swindon 5-0 Tranmere
Swindon 5-0 Pompey
Swindon 4-0 Carlisle
On a bit of a roll me thinks!
I noticed that too and part of me was fuming and part of me wasn't surprised and just thought "nothing new here" but then went back to fuming because Rugby League deserves better converage.
It's the Greatest Game of All and people need to be told.
Fav - Leeds Rhinos
2nd - Hull FC (my son's team as he choose his mum's team)
Amateur - Swindon St George (love having a team in my home town)
Aussie - Bunnies followed by Warriors
