  1. Oh look at that they went for an additional look to see if he got it back, maybe he should have gone through ritson like charnley did a few weeks ago...
  2. Welsby proper stropping there that they went left and away from him.
  3. And? Ive seen sky games where the vid ref has watched that back 10 times to see whether they got a finger back on it before it the ground. Also why does everything have to have a leigh reference made?
  4. All the 50/50s, all the luck, which they deserve as they're working hard and earning it.
  5. For another team that gets poured over to see if he gets his hand back on it before it hits the ground
  6. Anyone know what the lines are that hull have painted over, it's a weird position
  7. It was exactly the same as the game at our place in April, we couldn't get out of our 40, just kept dropping the ball, wigan poked ahead on the scoreboard and we just couldn't get up field till really late on
  8. i'd like to describe dufty as recently departed, didn't want him here in the first place. in fact, it was the wigan away game last year, that thewlis dufty and ashton all had stinkers under the high ball, wigan kept bombing them, and no one was helping the back 3, every one was challenged and every one was dropped.
  9. today, yes, but he can have a game where he would miss all of them, hopefully he's going in the right direction, consistency wise.
  10. Neither of them should be in the team, they're virtually the same player, one quota, and the other fed trained
  11. If he could crack catching a high ball, he'd be first choice, that's the only thing holding him back.
  12. you wonder how many pre season ekg's have missed this over his career.
  13. its not looking at it with wire goggles, its looking at it with non saints goggles.
  14. just having a gander, that 2012 was a rough looking squad 1. Paul Wellens, 2. Ade Gardner, 3. Michael Shenton, 4. Sia Soliola, 5. Francis Meli, 6. Lance Hohaia, 7. Jonny Lomax, 8. Josh Perry, 9. James Roby, 10. Louie McCarthy Scarsbrook, 11. Tony Puletua, 12. Jon Wilkin, 13. Chris Flannery, 14. Anthony Laffranchi, 15. Mark Flanagan, 16. Paul Clough, 17. Gary Wheeler, 18. Shaun Magennis, 19. Andrew Dixon, 20. Lee Gaskell, 21. Tommy Makinson, 22. Jamie Foster, 23. Scott Hale, 24. Nathan Ashe, 25. Carl Forster, 26. Josh Jones, 27. Danny Jones, 28. Joe Greenwood, 29. Anthony Walker, 30. Jordan Hand.
  15. i'm not doing lomax down, cos his career speaks for it self, but at that point, anyone under 20 that pulled a saints shirt on was the next big thing, during that transition period. there was also that lad that made, maybe one appearance, at fb during a good friday game, nathan something?
  16. because as usual sky go OTT and overhype too early, Foster, Dawson, Swift, lomax and gaskell at wakey were all the next golden generation, despite most of them having a fair few obvious deficiencies
  17. the thewlis try was a clear demonstration of that, there were 3 wire players, and eventually senior came a calling
  18. i wasn't a fan of him at saints, he was overhyped as another saints junior, he's done well at hull though, matured into a solid dependable winger.
  19. i saw the clip on twitter last night, i didn't realise the wakey player was in posession initially, looking at this now, looks like he's dropped the ball and panicked assuming myler has it, and then the big dump tackle. now, IF he DID have the ball when he started the movement, it does go back to what was said before, and how the rules possibly should apply in defence and attack, ie the complaints about ball carriers using the shoulder charge in attack. however, i think the former happened
