How many hoots does the RFL give? We have to try. And stick to it. Play games in Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff and stick to these cities for 5 years. I'd go.. right now, i dont have anything fun to attend in RL, so i go elsewhere

I was thinking about the lower ranking countries, they do well. I genuinely think the sport is on a cusp of something in the Northern Hemisphere. Either sort out a myriad of issues, the International calendar for England, Scotland, Wales, France, Ireland etc being 1 part of it... or suffer a long a slow further decline into absolute amateurism.

Its almost a jingoistic response to Australia running that part of the game. Is it ideal, probably not. As alluded to earlier by multiple folk, the ideal would be a decent International RL body. How do we get there though as the International game is a joke. It's a scandal to be fair. So, would it be such a bad thing if they took over and we had some sort of calendar in play? I'm at the precipice of just giving in entirely.

I would defend them, too. Sadly, i only see the challenges becoming more difficult. Scotland RL is a rudderless shambles, the best team has to play in England... It's important to differentiate between a strategic (or lack of) plan which is the shambles and the folks who are trying their hardest. Semantics of course, but important nonetheless. Solutions? Christ knows, but again, it wont be individuals on a volunteer basis, it needs a proper strategy which has to come from the RFL and/or International RL.

Are you ok? Not once are Bob Brown and the ilk referred to as shambolic; it's the governing bodies and folk in charge who derserve that. My fondest wish is not that we had more, it's that they would not be needed in the 1st place to drive the sport forward.
