I'd agree, if we are to be promoted there is no room for sentiment, and I'd agree Kheirallah, at this time is better than Pickersgill. It also makes sense to loan out fringe players, both to give them game time, and reduce our costs. Surely not good for morale if you've got players in the squad who never get a game.

There were rumours about Greg Eden, but that seems to have gone a bit quiet. Not sure that I know of any other rumours, other than the NRL Centre, which looks a little unlikely.

If he does sign, and it's highly doubtful, clearly he's not going to be on anything like the NRL contract. I'm guessing, he'd use it as an opportunity to go in the shop window and move on from that. Personally I can't see it happening.

I'm guessing he'd come over for a season, and then do enough to get a SL club or go back to the NRL. Seems unlikely to me, has he mentions not wanting to leave his ill mother.
