  1. Battered ???? result was in doubt till the last try. And i agree about this poor Leigh narrative, basically they are 1 season wonders and their squad players aren't good enough, it's all an excuse to try and cover up how poor they've been this year. It was a good game as a neutral as i said it would be, congrats to KR for getting to their 3rd consecutive semi-finals.
  2. He was man of the match in the opening game for some reason, he did very little in that one too.
  3. Boooooooo Referee's a ******* Well he was while you were losing!!!
  4. Finishes 6-34, top of the league you're having a laugh. An emphatic victory, said it was a happy hunting ground for us. Great result is that!
  5. Now Naiqama's in, Connor converts....FARTOWN ARE INTO THE SEMI FINALS!!!!! 6-34 (73)
  6. Ikavalu in for the dragons,, kick is good. 6-26 (56)
  7. Now it's Marsters over, extras missed. 0-26 (50) Are we playing Hull FC again?
  8. Ikahihifo try, Connor adds the 2. 0-22 (42)
  9. Tries from Connor, Swift and Milner and 2 Connor conversions give Fartown a 16-0 lead after 27 minutes.
  10. Olly Wilson is definitely worth a shout at prop, he's been sensational for us this year, 92% tackle rate, 0 penalties conceded, 20 tackle busts and nearly 8m gain per carry, there can't be many better form English props than Olly. I'd definitely pick him, as i would Mikey Lewis if only for his energy and enthusiasm. Jake Wardle, Dom Young and Jack Welsby would be definite picks too.
  11. Slightly off topic but i believe Huddersfield are in that league too and have just appointed a new player-coach, a guy called Danny Brough!!
  12. On Rlfans probably saying he was done/finished, with most of the others!.
  13. Suppose but it seems to me that the ones at Hull fail even moreso than at other clubs.
  14. Crazy indeed, another 2 underperforming imports gone to no doubt be replaced by another 2, this almost feels like an annual thing with Hull.
  15. Should be a Wigan win but we probably all said that last year in the Semi, Cas have their 1st win so should have a bit of confidence back. Wigan by 12
  16. Should be a good game this, looking forward to it. Could do either way but i'll got for KR by 10
  17. Fantastic, i expect to see Hull's superstar players rip the league up now the man who has been hindering them is now gone. Maybe some of them who have been poor for a few years(under different coaches) will finally get a coach to make them come good, after all that's been Hull's problem hasn't it? just the bad coaches?. Hope Tony stays within the game, i've met and spoke to him many times over the years and he is a brilliant bloke and an asset to our sport.
  18. We have a great record over there, i'm always confident so will go for a Fartown win by 6, it's about time we won this bloody trophy!!! Shame it's with 2 weeks notice though as i would have liked to have gone, will have to make do with June instead.
  19. I had an absolute nightmare last year using my points for Grand Final tickets, i must have made 6 phonecalls and sent 20 emails before it was sorted.
  20. Right, i'm with you now, i thought you were saying it was a SL directive that all coaches had to be rather than a Government/Visa requirement. Either way it doesn't change my point about Tony being hunted by the big boys on the back of his work at Huddersfield.
  21. Maybe i am missing your point so apologies if i have misunderstood but from what i understand you were saying Tony only got the job at Huddersfield as it was a Super League directive that coaches had to be from overseas. I'm not sure if i missed a joke or something originally but i don't really get what your getting at.
  22. I never said he did, Gomersall said TS got the job at Huddersfield as it was a requirement that SL coaches had to be from overseas at the time, i pointed out that as TS had replaced Kear then this is clearly not true, not sure what exactly his point was to be honest.
