Ironically that is the exact reasons why i stopped watching darts, i was quite an avid follower of it and indeed played a bit before it turned into a televised P*** up, but that is what attracts people to the darts, i won't call them fans of the sport as most of them have probably never seen a darts match.

Seems very strange that a club named Wakefield have never actually played or are nowhere near to playing a game in Wakefield when there is a facility there where a previous team called Wakefield played!

Thanks, you too, and i meant in the relevance that they were also very good teams once upon a time as the Bulls were, the fact Bradfords is still in recent memory should make no difference.

Yes, another one of our excellent home grown products. I can't recall our support ever 'rocketed', when i 1st started going crowds were around the 700 mark, when Ken Davy took over in 1996 they were around 1,600, to around 3,000 in our 1st stint in Super League, hardly massive but a fair rise. As for 'good Bulls' they are now history along with 'good Hunslet', good Swinton', good Halifax'' etc, there has to come a time when the sport has to accept and let go of the Successful Bradford Bulls club, it's gone, disappeared, consigned to history and is absolutely no relevance to any comparison with the current Bradford Bulls. Also i've never considered Bradford a big derby game, it's traditionally for me being Halifax and more recently Leeds, Bradford never came close due to their dominance over us then vice versa.

Nowt wrong with Underbank, it's a great plce to watch rugby league.

But what appeal is there in Bradford these days? an average, badly run, mid table championship side playing in an absolute dump of a ground and with a fanbase that is now down to the diehards? The appeal you mentioned is based on what Bradford were 10-15 years ago and is absolutely not relevant to the current club, anyway that discussion is for another topic not this one. Back on topic and have Leigh ever had appeal in SL outside their own supporters base/own? i would suggest not just as 65% of SL clubs don't.

What about Hunslet and Swinton, surely with their past records they deserve an 'A' too?
