  1. As with most of the KR team i think he thought 2nd half was gonna be a cake walk, once he started his usual poopoo housing his game went to pot.
  2. This game has many similarities to Good Friday 2011 when we travelled to Wrexham to face Crusaders, we were top of the league and unbeaten, they were bottom. The whole attitude of the club was awful that day, players loading beers onto the bus for the journey back home, players turning up half dressed and half asleep, players stood around chatting during the warm ups, it didn't feel right at all and we got spanked 32-6 and our players actually looked surprised it had happened, well i doubt the attitude issues are there but this is one of those horrible potential banana skins where if we don't get attitude and effort right we could come unstuck. Some of our fans are wanting wholesale changes to the team and still expect us to go there and put a big score on, i've seen some saying we should easily put 50+ on them, all this while saying we should rest the likes of Clune/Connor/Cudjoe etc, obviously thoe are the deluded ones. We've named a fairly strong squad and i expect us to win but we never make easy work of these games so i think London will give us a bit of a test. Giants but only by 12-16 i feel.
  3. Usually the bad language, threats of violence and general animosity of their fans BUT if you look at all my posts on the match threads you will see i tend to have a little bit of banter on them when writing my original opinions, they are my light hearted look at stuff, please don't take it personally (or boo at me) it's just me having a bit of fun with myself, nothing is ever written to cause offence or anything, lighten up and enjoy your weekend fella and let me have my fun
  4. To be fair why would a stranger on a public forum be aware of a tragedy that's happened in your life? obviously the guy wasn't aware so i'm sure any coincidental inapropriate comment wasn't meant in an offensive way. Sorry if anything bad has happened but please don't make out he said something on purpose to be cruel. PS: You'll beat Hull, they aren't interested, your lads look it but are just not talented enough.
  5. It'll give Leeds fans a taste of their own medicine (their club, not the actual fans before anyone else takes a comment of mine too seriously!)
  6. Ooh look, another who has lost their sense of humour over a Giants fans comment...
  7. Well this has drifted a little bit....just a little bit!!
  8. No you wouldn't, you would have banned the wrong person.
  9. Could be blood and thunder or a tame, timid affair, hope we get a classic like we used to, either way Wigan for me, i just feel they have better individual players and a better team than the arm-waving plastic scousers. Pie scoffers by 10 and Wellens to almost cry on screen.
  10. I reckon Cas may just raise their game slightly here, it only needs to be slightly as Leeds are doodoo as well and are once again relying on another Fartown reject half-back to lead them to glory, it ain't gonna happen guys!!! Cas by 6 and Smith to go on a Derek Beaumont type rant after before packing his case!.
  11. FC by 10 to leave the 50,000 locked outside Craven Park stunned..... Only joking, Realdeal Rovers by 26.
  12. No seat counting, simply pointing out that the ground never appears full despite them claiming it is every week. I did actually praise KR and their crowds if you care to read properly and not just see Huddersfield fan and crowds and bite straight away!!.
  13. Aye and every time i've been or seen Hull KR on tv there's loads of spaces in the Well, Main stand and behind the goals so maybe the East stand is sold out but it doesn't neccessarily mean the entire ground is, don't get me wrong any club that has improved crowds is great fro the game and KR certainly have but to claim there is no room in the ground left when the other 3 areas clearly have space is a bit daft, it's almost like their saying to fans unless you don't want the East stand then you can't get in when clearly you can, either that or hundreds of people are not turning up every game.
  14. I'd hazard a guess at either London or Bramley?
  15. There's 2 in equlity for me: 1995 Challenge cup 5th round Keighley 0-30 Huddersfield, at the height of 'Cougarmania' and the Hudddersfield/Keighley rivalry we were drawn away at Cougar park where the home side hadn't lost at home for something like 15 months,(we'd actually smashed high flying Halifax at home in the previous round) the ground was rampacked, a capacity crowd of 5,700 and we absolutely battered them, they didn't lay a glove on us all afternoon, we were actually in disbelief on the terraces as no one had come close to giving Keighley a beating like this for ages, that game and cup run ( we lost to Oldham in the QF) was, for me, the start of our awakening. 2006 Challenge Cup semi final, Leeds 12 -30 Huddersfield, Leeds with their superstars were hot favourites, it was going to be a routine win for the rampant Rhinos surely? Nope, we had 17 warriors on that field who dismantled the superstar Leeds team with ease to take us to our 1st cup final since 1962, probably the finest team performance i'v ever seen. There's been some other great wins too but those 2 simply for the magnitude and margins of the wins will take some beating.
  16. Sorry but forgive my ignorance but what's an International?
  17. As a Huddersfield fans from the 80's onwards i will refrain from answering this as there are simply too many to choose from.
  18. Listening to their fans it's obviously very simple, they just keep hiring ###### coaches or good coaches suddenly turn ###### for them, those hard working, talented players are being hindered by these jokers who suddenly stop being good coaches when they are given the job. They're doing the right thing by sacking the current incumbent every year, though, one year they will get it right and their players will finally start to blossom. In all seriousness i was told yesterday by a prominent RL and SL figure that things are worse than what they seem over there and they are 'in a right old mess' whether that meant on or off the pitch i'm not sure but it doesn't sound good either way.
  19. Correct, Hull requested the Saturday as far as i'm aware.
  20. RFL decide on CC dates, apparently it was player welfare issues that they decided we were to play Hull at 2pm on Saturday, our club weren't happy with it.
