  1. Already donated, he'll take cash, give it to his mam or dad at a match.
  2. Next match us now a 4 pointer. Widnes knocked Halifax over today away. 2 points off us, not sure of points difference, we could join Halifax out of the race if we go down.
  3. OK Kibula was immense first 20, we took him off then yet Reilly (poor almost hour) played at least the hour that I saw and Gwaze the same for Eagles. Meadows, at least he ran with purpose if not great distribution. Leak, tried his usual self. Several were totally innocuous.
  4. Long Stander, as I've said elsewhere I think the refusal to allow loanees in when Lingard asked drove a wedge between him and board..
  5. We've put up with a lot in the bad, bad old days, we've then been treated to a great deal of success and people ask why other people think we're entitled to it. Why not? But we really don't expect to be treated to the recent run of abjectness. No other word fits and we're at a crossroads in my opinion. We've greatly over-achieved on the back of the famed Bulldog spirit, the Bulldog family feel despite spending little. Well sorry and all that but at least the latter now has to change. This squad is over-tired, jaded, slow, hard-working journeymen have now completed their journeys and even if it takes a couple of years of mid-table mediocrity youth has to come in, money has to be spent in getting good, experienced leaders. I already feel sorry for Mokko who is going to be left to pick up the pieces of a suddenly-collapsed dressing room against the backdrop of such financial restraint. Almost 2 hours after walking out I'm still angry at the let-down and I only see 1 more win in the season and an early season's end. Call me out if you like, I've had to put my feeling into print, but it seems there are others changing their views by the look of some other comments.
  6. Did anybody improve after I walked out with 20 minutes to go? No? Thought not....
  7. Never done this before in 62 years, 20 minutes to go and I'm leaving and I'm not alone, people are streaming out, I'm watching them from the car as I send this. What an absolute shower, rudderless, leaderless, spiritless, call it what you will, lack of recruitment and spending, loaning out etc has come home to roost. This is rrminisecent of bad, bad years.
  8. Hope he doesn't go, we need him and such as Kibula staying as they are young forwards to attract other young forwards. To coin a phrase by Loyd Grosman....it's over to you!
  9. It appears that Martin Reilly is on the move, reported that Widnes have offered him a contract.
  10. Think we can get him back, we already did for 1 game. Might need him at FB.
  11. Can't see that Crown Flatter, would leave Kev open to a breach of contract claim!!
  12. Whilst we can name our team already....
  13. Just thought...depends on Cas and who they retain you might ask Linners!
  14. Love a laugh, why do you think I put stuff on here BSJ! In fact I'd love it if someone COULD take the p about Batley bringing in as many loans as Bradford!!
  15. Cheers KTF and Linners, I've said exactly the same things over and over and continually got shouted down on here. And guess what folks....it ain't gunna change unless Jesus himself makes an appearance and changes half-time draw tickets into money cos atm nobody's going to spend any unless Mokko's got a hold over somebody!!
  16. Just heard the Radio Leeds interview; Craig talks about players not upholding the 'processes' but maybe our 'processes' (so many of us old end are so confused by modern parlance) have gone stale through use on use and teams are nullufying them. Do we have any chance of a change to processes to get teams off our backs? Do we have a change of personnel to change the processes? McGowan sounds a doubt, is Kear injured or unavailable? We bring JC back as a competent no1 or Kear comes in there and JC on the wing. We still have 2 other players out on loan and seeing as we were, for reasons which will forever remain unexplained, refused incomers, would it not be expedite to have our squad back together, new challengers for shirts? We need new energy, that much is clear and obvious. What's not clear and obvious is how and where it will come from.
  17. Very disappointed in this today.
  18. The proof of the Wembley pudding will be next Friday when we see how many of them can find Mount Pleasant GOR! I'll be surprised if we have a carry over from the final, the lads will know that the next door is opening and will have reset.
  19. Really important now to come out blasting, can go back 3rd on Sunday as Fev have beaten Eagles tonight, that would just have us the lift before going into the home game with them. Win that and 3rd place is really on. On a different tack, is it my imagination but in each shot of Linners tonight on TV he looked thoroughly p'd off, couldn't raise a smile.
  20. Chance to get Louis Collinson back from Dewsbury and Jimmy Beckett.
  21. Even if we picked up any knocks down on the industrial estate we've got experience and strength in droves. This should be reasonably comfortable.
  22. Whoever the club/Mokko might be talking to, players ought to be beating the door down to get into this club. Those who might be calling it a day will have left the club on it's highest plane since 1901 and given every encouragement to a new breed to take over. Let's hope enough take on the challenge.
