  1. at least all the hull players can earn themselves a blue peter badge if nothing else this season
  2. if Manu does have one flaw in his game - its not passing the ball to his winger (only carl gibson was worse for this) so for me Manu and Young on that side is a bad combination as Young needs feeding the ball to score tries
  3. your supposed to say your NOT a big racist and you have Japanese friends and Burt Kwok was the best one in last of the summer wine
  4. no- your wrong Manu is a stand out talent among some good players
  5. and the most stereotypical racist post of the year so far goes to.........................................
  6. not as simple as that - someone will step in ,that's without doubt - but talents like Manu come round once in a lifetime - just like jonathan davies , ellery hanley and darren lockyer to name but just 3 - a huge loss to our game but money talks and if we were offered 5x as much money to do a far easier job then what would we say?
  7. it all depends what the mistakes were and if he's matured as an adult since those "mistakes" - obviously none of us here know the ins and outs of the past so to try to give advice would not be the right thing- you seem very passionate about your causes phil and there cant be much more a thing to be passionate about but the welfare of your own kids - remember whatever he's done or said he's made from your DNA and that may be part of the problem - hope it all works out for you mate - life's way too short
  8. hes got 4 kids so he should be used to dealing with petulant children that need their arze wiping
  9. some fantastic memories of displays of rugby league skill from some of the grearest players to have ever signed an RL contract for which I am grateful I was there to witness - great players, great days - thanks for bringing those players to the game Doug
  10. the way things are going on the international scene for England we should be looking at players in the u/15s to see who makes the next England team - such is the lack of fixtures (especially against NZ and AUS)
  11. what sort of annual coinage will be directed Mylers way and how better could that lolly be used to benefit Hull fc?
  12. someone has to do the dirty work mate - and theres no shame in that
  13. nah - thats contracted out to wallace arnold these days - u get who u get for that gig
  14. too many of these made up jobs that have no benefit to the club or the team - all u need is - the coach - the assistant coach - the bloke with the magic sponge and the bucket - the bloke with the magic sponge and the buckets MRS to wash the kits and do the HT refreshments
  15. thats the usual reply from some mates i know with jobs that I cant work out what they actually do - like the "machine that goes ping"
  16. too many cooks in the background with their fingers in the broth in the modern game for mine - more background staff than the cast of zulu- waste of money
  17. what happened to the days when a coach wanted a player? eg- Doug Laughton wants a player goes to the board and tells them he wants to sign them - then the board trusts him and signs that player
  18. and quite a few of his diddy men - Konnie looks one more steak bake away from retirement - Lomax struggling to take the mantle - bet wire are glad they offloaded Clark who's not fit to clean Roby's boots - good player 8 years ago- but now? nah - how did Leeds lose to this rabble at home 2 weeks running? must be a concern for Leeds fans!
  19. 6 days without booze and I'm sleeping like a baby - waking up screaming and crying 3 times during the night and soiling myself twice!
  20. another 2 horses died yesterday at Aintree from injuries in falls on ladies day - utterly disgusting !
  21. just out of sheer interest - would Matt Moylan have been at the panthers when Hardaker had his stint there?
