In 2018 when Leigh brought in 19 new player's at very nearly SL cap level to play in the Championship I was totally disgusted at how the players performed and reacted, it seemed they where happy enough to just put on the kit then hold out their hands to be payed their performance was a secondary factor, I should imagine that the very same is going on at Hull FC, unless the Fan's can tell me different.

Really, I thought that Sammut and Stack were by far Barrows best player's at Leigh last week, Batley seem to have hit the brick wall in the last couple of weeks.

No time for laughing, WTF is going on at Hull the Fan's deserve better than what they keep being delivered season after season, have they improved since Radford was shown the door and then Last was considered not good enough I would say that Hodson has probably fared worst of the three. I wonder just how much the city rivalry keeps the fans coming back, if they were stand alone clubs in other towns would they still have the same respect from the locals?

@Gav Wilson this is doing the rounds in Leigh, Dr Koukash is never away from the place and great friends with Derek Beaumont, no surprise when Wigan got wind of it they gave French an uplifted offer to stay, but he has yet to commit to that and it is 3 weeks since Wigan reacted, maybe he is holding out to go back home and sign for the Knights, but as far as I know Leigh are still in the mix.

Yep Leigh have done that with Nene Macdonald, but some Leeds fans believe if they 'holler' clubs will just release them, if Macdonald does leave for Leeds, Leigh should demand a fee which will allow them to buy his equal or better, and I highlight and underline buy as Leigh will not have to wait to see which player's are off contract they will be in a position to offer a transfer fee, I would be so very dissapointed if Leigh let him go without being well recompensed.

A further rumour is that he is going to reunite with the guy who brought him to SL- Adrian Lam, and it may be that Dr Koukash is the financier deal reported to be 6 figures for 3 seasons. Correction that should read 7 figures for 3 seasons.

I can't for the life of me understand why an expierenced coach such as McDermott can not see that as player's age they succumb to more injuries and then the recovery time takes longer, his 'mentor' Nobby Noble did exactly the same at Salford and that backfired drastically, or it could be that he thought Peacock, Kyley Leuluia and Sinfield did exceptionally well at Leeds for him, so it could work again! What's your opinion Rover (and any other Fev fan) of McDermott's strategy's in his time at POR, if they don't get promoted will he still be there next season, or am I doing him a big disservice in that someone else at the club has provided him with the playing roster?

If Leigh do go up, do you not see as much as a threat from the team that comes down being either Toulouse or Wakey? And what do you think the future holds for either of those two if they are the team relegated, I can't see Toulouse losing to many players especially the French Lads albeit one or two of the older 'imports' may have done their time, Wakey maybe somewhat different in that a few of their players may move on, and as for Fev I think that their stratergy of 'experience but old' has somewhat backfired - albeit if they do reach the final they may be capable of a one off game surprise, all dependent on who they have fit and available - but I should imagine they will need to do sone serious rebuilding next season, if they do not get promoted the Championship needs a strong Fev team and I hope they can muster one but the likes of Cuthbertson at present 37, Ferris 36, Lockwood 36, Moors 36, Kopczak 35, may well be surplus to requirement plus Hall will be 35 next season, Ford 34, Lefeo 33, Kheirallah 33 it is a daunting job ahead for them - whichever division they are in SL or Championship.

Well Salford and Huddersfield got through today OK, and in the post match interview MOM Atkins said they are used to these conditions now, and next week at Catalan will be a bit of a doddle for them, ........ I made that last bit up.

Salford in the first half was a duplicate of the Paul Rowley coached Leigh team of '14 and '15, when they lost just 3 games in those two seasons, everybody willing able and encouraged to pass the ball, such a pleasure to watch especially if you are a supporter of the team.

Sorry about the sarcasm, but when you said "It's the physical toll of travel" Toulouse had previously been in the British game in the Championship from 2009 for 3 seasons, having already applied to join SL on a couple of other occasions which was rejected, they knew very well what travel they would have to take on having already experienced it, the funny thing is it never seemed to be brought up as a problem when they were winning and got promotion through two divisions, and I would go as far to say had they improved their playing roster to finish comfortably in SL this season I doubt it would even have be mentioned this season.
