I don't know too much about other sports, but I agree with this 100% with regards to RL clubs and its a massive bugbear of mine. I probably go on about it a bit too much TBH but the recent stuff from Oxen at Leeds just annoys me. I think Leeds are a big club and deserve better, it is just cheap tat and the constant sales are really annoying, the whole strategy seems to be release a load of stuff all the time, then have a sale and release some more stuff. The Home kit of the teams is a massive part of the overall brand, and they don't seem to care about it. As someone mentioned you look through the years that Leeds have won the SL, there is literally only one year (2008 I think) where they were wearing what you would describe as Leeds RL/Rhinos 'proper' kit.

This, 100%, Oxen stuff is cheap tat, they shouldn’t be anywhere near the England stuff (nor the Rhinos IMO) The Umbro stuff for England RU is quality and looks classy. It’s a real bugbear of mine

To be fair I don’t usually buy the away kit as they are generally awful and nothing ti do with the Leeds colours. If it was just white with the blue and amber hoops (like the 2015 wembley shirt) id have one, well I wouldn’t because Oxen don’t seem to make them in my size, but that’s another issue.

I think its horrid, looks like a cheap training top. Judging by Facebook comments I’m in the minority.

The design of the Leeds shirt is nice but the actual thing is just cheap tat! Ive got intouch with them because they don’t sell XS and the S is huge. Hopefully they sell the player issue shirts again because if not it will be the first time in about 25 years I haven’t bought one

yes I noticed that quite a nice touch, my issue with the badge is the typography, it’s the same as before. i like the fleur de lise though, the old one was a right mess - i know from experience how badly it was drawn.

Wakefield have released a new badge/logo which is just a stripped back version of the current one, looks OK. We actually did a concept for them as part of another job, not sure if it ever got seriously looked at, obviously in my biased opinion, ours was better

Didn't take long for me to be back being annoyed at OXEN - No XS at the shop and an S is massive.

The yellow collar on the shirt alone is fine, just when it's paired with white shorts it should always have a white collar on a Leeds Shirt IMHO Im really not moaning though its a very good effort.

I prefer a goldish colour to a more yellow though! (Like 2018) just a shame Global won’t use a white version of their logo on the kit!

Pretty much perfect that (bar white collar) ive given Oxen plenty stick but they’ve nailed it so credit where credit is due

Looks like it's postponed till next year I'm absolutely livid to be honest, at the ARLC NRL and NZRL that is, there's one thing I hate (and I don't use that word very often) and that's bullies

Im not sure I can put into words (well ones that will pass the swear filter) how much I am disillusioned/annoyed, downright disgusted with the way the ARLC, NZRL and the NRL have acted. It's clear to everyone what their motives are and they are so backward and insular, and they worst thing is they don't care, what they don't seem to realise is, not that many people outside of the eastern side of Australia, know or care about the NRL or SOO, but people do care about a World Cup, Im absolutely fuming to be honest.

Personally I think the WC organisers should just come out and say the WC is going ahead and publicly show the covid bio security protocols. Then say they are open to either invitational Australia and NZ sides (whether that be indiginous or Maori sides or not) and then say if that is declined they will be inviting 2 other nations in to compete (maybe US and Serbia) This will show two things A. that the WC is bigger than the ARLC and NZRL and that we have other nations that can come in and play. This WC can easily be a success without Aus and NZ and could actually mean that it is the most widely contested WC of all time, for example Scotland V the USA would be a much better game than Scotland V Australia. The one thing we do have on our side is that RL at any level is a fabulous spectacle

The worst part of that Gould clip for me is when he said he hopes there is some international footy at the end of the year for the players - there already is Phil you absolute person who I hold in very low esteem
