The Transfer Rumour Mill Thread

I don't think cap is the issue at the moment as we didn't sign Hardaker but we could do with Prior off the OSQ, I think we are looking to bring in a specialist centre, with the Signing of Listen we are now out of quota spaces. -

Id be a tad annoyed if we’re subsidising Thompson I would imagine we would have to pay some of Priors wages but not Walkers -

Hearing rumours of 3 or 4 going to the Bulls from Leeds. Donaldson and Prior both mentioned -

Hardaker to Leigh is a bizarre one, and he’s clearly going for the cash (nothing wrong with that) but to move to club near Wigan when only 6 months ago he moved back to Yorkshire for family reasons is strange. -

Were in a mess SC wise due to some bad decisions it was never going to be until 2024 that Rohan Smith can get who he wants. Regardless of Signings next year is exciting as a Leeds fan to see what Smith can do with a pre season and a whole campaign -

Heard a rumour that Jack Walker could be signing for the Bulls - could there be a twist in the Hardaker saga? -
A lot of fans keep saying they wanted a big coaching name - when was the last time a successful current NRL head coach came over to coach a Super League club?
-
The salary cap of the two competitions means absolutely nothing in terms of what quality there is in the Queensland cup. The standard is better than the championship regardless of the salary cap difference. As stated the talent pool in Australia is way bigger than ours and their second tier players are of a far better quality than ours.

Leeds fans weren’t happy when we appointed Tony Smith or Brian McDermott. A lot of fans were happy when we appointed David Furner. Fans often know ###### all.

We got a former NRL head coach and Current assistant coach last time, it didn't end well. It's not a guarantee of success. The more I'm thinking about this appointment the more I think it could be a good one.

Getting a big name NRL head coach was simply never ever going to happen, and very rarely does in SL

Your Favourite Ever Rl Shirt

Great shirt, I like how they incorporated the Getty Images sponsor into it aswell ? -
I’ve read it on that other Main RL message board, in fairness I’d usually say it’s just a load of twaddle, however the people posting it have a good record in regards the rumours being true. It would be one hell of a signing though.

Pretty strong rumours circulating that Leeds are in negotiations with Sam Burgess as a replacement for Merrin.

Sorry to hear this sad news, I really feel for you and your family. I lost my father far too young, he also died of pneumonia but it was from a complication during treatment for Leukaemia. He was 49. What I will say and it does sound like a cliche but time really does heal, its been 18 years since he died and there’s not a day goes by I don’t think about him but it’s now with a smile on my face rather than sadness. I very rarely get maudling but the only time it happens is Challenge Cup day when I hear abide with me, I’m not a religious person but that song never fails to get me. Stay strong and always remember the good times you had with him. -

Fair do’s, life would be boring if we all liked the same stuff ? For instance I don’t find Bottom or Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson particularly funny, Mayall was good in Man Down though -

If I ever had any thoughts about watching GOT that's just got rid of them ? Sounds like a convoluted plot from children's TV Knightmare (I'm only joking, each to there own) -

Add me to the list, I've never watched a Harry Potter film (well I did watch 5 minutes before turning it off) or any Lord of the Rings films either. I have no interest in them whatsoever. -

They fly Out West on an evening sometimes which can be quite a sight! I used to have a couple of them that used to stop and rest in the trees in my garden regularly, one if them scared the out of me when I was coming home and it suddenly swooped out of the tree and flew over my head! -
