Looking back at game on YouTube, town should have put the game to bed in first half,only for Saunders and sammut poor pass,we're haven got 2 trys.and sammut miss tackle in 2nd half for try,hopefully walker is back for next game,hopefully sammut can show is experience more and rain in is mavrick play a little bit ,so he can control the game with is kicking more, so we can start winning games, haven will be a lot tougher game next week.

Town did ok today,defence was good at times,but basic errors and weak try line defence was the down fall in first 40mins,thought all the lads on the bench came on and did well,Reid,Stephenson, marwood, key played there heart out.henson looks good at 13,walker had a go in attack, sammut showed from scrum what he can do,lot a lads just learning about pro rugby,today's game showed we're they got to get to.

Thought it would be good playing Saturday, with the shifts on at shipyard.

Agree with others,missed Henson and marwood today,walker needs to play half and run at teams,Henson would give town better direction, and marwood that bit of spark and backing up later in each half.

Really can't believe the game went ahead today in them weather conditions,only a friendly as well, but all credit to the players and spectators who braved the weather,

I like Henson at 13,can still scoot from dummy half but was the only forward offloading at widnes,great all round player,bit like Brad hepi played

I like the look of the squad,full back, half's ,hookers,best in County, also good young cumbrian backs and young forwards ,if town can keep the young lads together, they will have a good team for a good few years.

Burns injury is a worry big loss,hopefully he's not to bad best player before he was injured. defence was good at times,but widnes were to good for town.henson looked good at loose forward had a few good runs and offloads when marwood came on.that looked the best combo of the game,but plenty of effort by all the squad.

When are the players squad numbers being announced?

Hopefully Brad will be as good for barrow as his uncle russ walker,good captain for barrow

I think off the cuff type players who can break the line,are missing from the game.rugby league in general is to predictable, with every team playing the same style. Basic completion sets and defence on top,

Buffer,macavoy,Barnes,curwen, Charlton would finish the squad for me,

How many players have town got signed on now, start of pre season?

Looks like town have signed a lot of furness based player's, from barrow last season and local amuture teams,not sure what barrows direction is this season, unless going duel reg with someone.

O'brien Carter, singleton, haven,marwood, Stephenson town would be great in any squad.

Agree its a tough call,but in championship you need a bigger squad to get through the season, it's a tough league to keep in.

Barrow can only pay players what they can offered, looks like the away players are getting deals nearer home,a lot of furness area players up the coast who Barrow should be signing,make the squad local if they don't have the budget to sign players from away. Not throwing academy an local amuture lads in at the deep end at championship level.
