Read it 25 years ago at university when I was determined to be 'well read' (the day job was studying Physics so it was a personal journey!).... Compared to the others on my list like Orwell/Wilde/Hardy/Dickens I found it awful..... I stress this was my view and at 45 might be worth me revisiting. I do however tend to stick bestsellers and the Booker nominees these days. Been enjoying the Pratchett stuff recommended by someone on here a while back

It's the prose that makes it unreadable--way too diffuse... The plot is okay I guess so yes depends on how the screenplay is written.

Catch 22 is my most overrated book of all time.... Virtually unreadable in my view... Interesting to s how the filming goes

I was amazed how many houses were decorated in LFC paraphanelia on the drive into Anfield....not just a flag or two but some were had lighting rigs and effergies etc....one looked like Rhys Williams ...Mo Salah I guess?
