Salford’s confidence has completely collapsed. Looked dangerous until two knock ons sucked the life out of them. Credit to Wakey who are well up for this and making quick play the balls count.

I think Rowley has bumped his head this week - that’s the most ridiculous Salford line up I’ve seen for quite some time. Wakey must fancy this now. Expect a Wakey to edge a stinker.

Yates has missed two tackles and cost two tries. His defending has looked suspect in a few games that I’ve seen. What’s up with him?

Is it because your general rugby league fan in this country has no interest in that sort of thing? Can’t imagine Big Jeff who spends all game shouting ‘forward’ and abuse at the ref really goes for stats. I remember getting into a discussion about the best fullback at the World Cup and the other person was adamant it was Suaalii. When I pointed out that Tedesco and Manu had obliterated him in all key stats (and quoted them) I had multiple replies from people telling me how useless stats were.

Warrington’s discipline in defence is awful. What is Vaughan doing there?! Ball watching.

Not getting into the whole argument but just to point out that MMA is not ‘carrying on as normal’ at all. There has been a significant move away from hard sparring at all ages/levels and a lot of focus on proper training methods for children. It’s not just a ‘western’ thing either - in muay thai (a key component of MMA) they’ve just introduced a load of new rules for child fighters in Thailand and that’s not a place known for it’s health and safety. Admittedly it’s still a violent sport but steps are definitely being taken to reduce risks.

After watching Leigh last week I thought they would run out of steam this week - they just keep proving people wrong. They’ve been impressive and I’m glad to see them up there (typing this with gritted teeth!). That shirt is still an abomination though.

Good grief - it’s a few drunk cretins having handbags. I’ve seen far worse that was never mentioned but because there is a video the usual suspects are trying to kick up some likes and retweets. That being said, I can’t be doing with these sort of idiots at games even if it is only handbags. Doesn’t bode well for attracting new fans does it.

I initially just thought Kendall had made a mistake and called held a bit too quickly. However, watching the highlights he seems to call a double moment (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) - in that case why on earth wouldn’t he go to the video ref? His use of the VR baffles me. Atkin clearly dropped the ball but he sent it up. Sio is in to score unopposed but he thinks he’s seen an obstruction- why not just send it up? Anyway, thought he was ok otherwise On the claims of Croft rediscovering his ‘mojo’ - I honestly don’t know what people watch as he’s been excellent. He’s a marked man so has adapted his game and this has also freed up Sneyd. With Lafai now back and Cross also looking more dangerous he should get more space but he’s still been good without it.

Salford fan here. Watson is an excellent coach but obviously favours completion rates and territory over creativity. Rowley came in and worked mainly with the spine by all accounts and added some flair to the steel. Anyone claiming Watson is a poor coach or that his relative success at Salford was down to other people is talking waffle. The answer to his creativity issues though obviously isn’t Jake Connor.

Wakefield are truly awful. Leigh doing their best to chick this away - they seemed to think the game was won.

Not one for the purists but entertaining. Rowley deserves a lot of credit as a few Salford players are not performing at the moment but the team still finds ways to win. Desperately need another prop now.

The amount of tries that have come through Stone this season is unacceptable. I’m going to have to turn this stream off before I get a migraine- shocking effort.

While I don’t like the idea, Matt Shaw clutching his pearls about it is classic Matt Shaw. A number of fans were asking for this but the rate is obviously terrible. People can decide for themselves whether to take it though.
