Yep especially annoying when it's played after the opposition have scored allowing their fans the opportunity celebrate even more. Well quite a few people predicted it would be a struggle this year especially up front in the pack and so far it is coming to pass. Maybe a bit early but unless we get more size and quality in,staying up may have to be the goal this season.

Anyone heard if there is to be the usual printed matchday programme this year or has it gone to a digital format? Cheers.

The players don't have the loyalty to specific clubs like we the fans have. Some other club comes in with an offer that is better they'll probably be off these days. Its a job to them,all you can hope for is they give you 100% whilst your club is paying them,which ,to be fair,most of them do.

Age old problem in York,not enough people watch the game here.

Did we have a sub (Ronan Michael ?) who didn't come on,what's the reason for that ? Pretty sure it was the same last week. Seems odd to have fresh legs to come on and not use it. We lost today because Batley were prepared to put in the necessary effort and of our shower weren't .

No not his fault as the squad had already been assembled before he came. I wonder what say Batley and Sheffield do different to us to remain stronger in this league for a longer time than we seem to manage ?

You would of thought that a few more would have come in with the injury crisis and the fact the squad wasn't big enough at the start of the season. We do struggle to consolidate at this level.

He'll be a good one to have in as we try to bounce back into the championship at the first attempt.!!!!

There is definitely an emphasis switch from fans to sponsors etc.

From little things you hear its sounds as if the club, Clint ,whichever, is very reluctant to spend much more money on the team this year as they are gearing up for a big push next season. Hope this doesn't backfire and we are gearing up for a push to get back into the championship.

Definitely seems more business than fan focused in this new era,perhaps it has to be that way in these modern times.

This was said a few weeks ago but a lot of people didn't believe it. Very small squad if it correct.

Maybe we've spent up with 2 and 3 year contracts given out. It's the age old thing in York ,the crowds arn't big enough, i would say we need to at least treble the amount of fans we get at home games before we can entertain thoughts of constantly finishing in the top four of the Championship, nevermind Super League.
