Mal Meninga promises to lay off picking Pasifika stars for Australia. https://www.theislanderonline.com.au/story/7733306/meninga-wont-beg-with-pasifika-nrl-stars/ Starting...... now!

Fair chance it is after Australia won the Third Test in 1950 at the SCG. Churchill is the one up in the air. The conditions were dreadful.

Problems for the AFL.

I see it has come as a revelation to Damien and gingerjon that the Pacific includes Australia and NZ. Those of us at the Magic Round this weekend will be in no doubt as teams from both countries do battle. And I also see there are really no ideas how to combat the southern RLWC challenge after a few days of dwelling on it. There must be a few sections of the English set-up on here after all.

Thanks. Hard to disagree with much of that. England are going to have to play better than the sum of their parts and Wane doesn’t breed much confidence in this regard.

Don’t forget the term Pacific encompasses Australia and New Zealand as well as the burgeoning talents of Samoa, Tonga, PNG and Fiji (even the Cook Islands). Hard to see the winner not coming from this batch.

I meant wall as in a force; not "big units". I'm looking forward to the aftermath here.

I mean wall as in a force. The northern hemisphere needs to aim up or they will be creamed.

Coming to a RLWC near you. How exactly is the northern hemisphere going to repel this barrage? Ideas welcome.

Day 2 of the Magic Round is a total sell-out at Lang Park. -
I think you missed what occurred. I said the very game in question has had up to 65,000 spectators. I said it was sad we don’t get this now. Damien said there was no such crowd. Gingerjon liked his post. Since then they have rallied around to say I ascribed something to the figure, when in fact I didn’t. I merely stated it.
