  1. I belive there is terracing in the pop side, town and Derwent end. Yes I agree regarding plastic pitches but that is the future and the only was for 7 day a week use. Can't really answer anything about finances, but neither club will have costly maintenance costs to deal with.
  2. What is your opinion on what has been presented this week?
  3. This is my argument, I keep hearing fans talking about football league/super league. Reds will never get back in the football league IMO looks at Wrexham for example how much money they needed along with Hollywood owners it took them years to get out of the national league. We all want to see progression but it has to be achievable and sustainable.
  4. Yes it's all on the CSV website
  5. 4 change rooms in the stand 2 of them community change rooms, a community pitch which will be opens 9am - 10pm. A function room/conference room for weddings etc. what else is needed? And a commercial zone behind the town end
  6. Also the plans for the stand looks good https://www.cumberlandsportsvillage.org.uk/stadium-development-west-stand
  7. Hopefully get to the future proof stage https://www.cumberlandsportsvillage.org.uk/stadium-development-south-stand-1
  8. Could make some sense this, especially with the news regarding the land being freed up at moor side now for SMR.
  9. https://workingtonafc.com/cumberland-sports-village-club-shareholders-update/?fbclid=IwY2xjawKsF9FleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHkKc6_KHV_S-ySh3vT3x50Vdm_OnEHOyYmrEytzf1H6lGfNmW_ZlLlK-KUJx_aem_-KNY-OemVSIACW1jxL_qXA https://www.townrlfc.com/article/841/shareholders-briefing----cumberland-sports-village?fbclid=IwY2xjawKsGIJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHnqKVXqmpPZxTP3pddFMLeGlnZrdgzT9o-gcJdFVMiL-OH4Or49LjqTdtSdT_aem_xW0cwXE-dnUP8Rj0rkdLQA
  10. I purchased one online and 2 under 16's which were free but still had to add them to my cart.
  11. I was at the shareholders meeting, they said that was the preferred option but if it isn't feesable then they will have to look at playing elsewhere. What was talked about wasn't a temporary stand but porta kabins similar to want Salford football club used when they did their ground.
  12. Says on his interview on town Facebook he's out till next Feb.
  13. Trust me from experience (I looked after reds social media until this season) it's so much quicker and easier getting information out on social media it can be done from anywhere using a smart phone. Website a little more complex. But in an ideal world social media and websites should line up with the latest news.
  14. Workington juniors is an independent organisation but play under the club badge, reds in the community is owned by the club and another (50/50 I believe) and financed via monthly subs, subs for camps and sponsors etc etc. hope that makes sense. Also you are correct, massive own goal
  15. No I think it's been done on the back of the ladies team leaving. https://www.workingtonafc.com/club-statement-workington-afc-ladies-and-girls/?fbclid=IwAR18DvHIXFnmDZsQYOo3-Q2gyH5pU_g57XCa-HvR7sVWA2hSt9nN0nKzJyc
  16. Not a good look for the reds, well embarrassing really. Then reds release a statement saying they are launching a ladies team which will be owned/controlled by the reds and have representation on the board of directors........well why didn't you just do this with the already well established team. I don't blame the ladies for this re-brand. Town have taken them in and looked after them.
  17. Ask the question at the next open forum.
  18. Money can't be split. It has to be spent on the BP site.
  19. I see Manning Eliott is are doing the plans. A local firm. Hopefully they will be available not long into the new year.
  20. The CSV company has been in existence for a couple of year. The football Foundation will provide funding for pitches. I'm not sure what money is available from the rfl for stadium projects if I'm being honest.
  21. I believe it's 2025. The article does tell us plans will be available in the new year and that there will be a chance for fans to discuss/ask questions so maybe another even we can go to?
  22. News update. The article states the project is a £23m project? https://www.timesandstar.co.uk/news/23971289.workington-sports-village-project-making-significant-progress/?fbclid=IwAR04c4ThU_LazCvu4yok3cI8SVJJU7Jr4BF8bdw2jlpNnJHzy9ydb4tBWBw
  23. Maybe if fans from both clubs start contacting the CSV page asking for an update meeting....we might get one. It's about time isn't it.
