Next Generation of Supporters

From my lofty perch at the Whitehaven game I cast an eye over the Myrtle congregation noticing that we are an ageing flock (Cheerleaders excepted!) and wondered if we could do more to attract the next generation of fans who will hopefully go on to be regular supporters in adulthood.

 

My love for Hunslet was hatched from an early age when the 'Man of the Match' for the school rugby team would be given the prized free entry pass to watch the lads and it went from there.

 

Is this something we could promote more in the schools?  I know the club do a lot in the school and community and I am in no way being critical of this work.

 

I just wonder how we increase our supporter level?
