Pre-season Friendly vs South Wales Ironmen 29 January 2017

The first of the Welsh friendly Origin games - North Wales Crusaders take on South Wales Ironmen at Queensway Stadium Wrexham on Sunday 29th January 2017.

The Ironmen have new backers and a host of new signings. Crusaderd have moved home, got a new coach, are independent from Dual Registration and also have a host of new signings.

Last season South Wales pushed Crusaders all the way at the League 1 game at Chester RUFC - Cursaders only coming out on top in the last quarter of the game. This should be a real measure of where both side are in the build up to League 1.

The return leg in Merthyr is on 5th February 2017

Looking forward to Sunday, missed the Swinton game so my first visit to Queensway this year.

By coincidence, we welcome our friends from South Wales on the seventh anniversary of the old club's first game at the Racecourse.
