Given the boredom of the off season looked at our sport

* In average attendance nrl 24th and superleague in at 47.

* in terms of crowd for grand final or final as such the nrl final ranked 5th in World and superleague 14th for challenge cup and 20th for superleague final. 

* in terms of representative event origin ranked number 1 with average of 74 but that goes up and down pending games in Brisbane/Sydney and Melbourne.

* the 2013 rugby league World Cup has code ranked 15th for international tournaments with 582000 fans however the 2017 edition would see code drop a lot with 382000. 

* nrl ranks as 2nd highest rugby comp in attendance and largest event crowd domestically. 

* the png domestic league is not listed but there final crowd of 15 thousand and french elite for 9 would feature but be down on list.

I think we should be looking to get 70K+ for the Grand Final and 75-80K for the Challenge Cup final. SL attendence should average at 10k if say

Clearly we are not going to do this by increasing crowds or playing numbers. Therefore we need to kill off players/supporters of other sports and our sport will be more popular in relation to others due to their declining numbers....

To me it shows with finals and gfs that’s fans are lazy or cash scraped. If we can get 83 thousand to nrl and 75 to cc or superleague we need to be getting those in between attendances. Too much of a gap with teams sub 10 or just above. 

Needs to be more event games and or take games on the road.

Got to be realistic as well.

Look at Salford for example, average 5k crowds and no academy. What do they bring to the table? Their not helping increase the playing pool and I'm not sure what there doing about attendances.
