I went to see the Bears v Leamington Royals game this afternoon. Both clubs are part of the Midlands Merit League.

Today was a friendly as both of the scheduled fixtures were called off ( Bears v Bham Bulldogs because of Covid )

A really nice way to spend a summer afternoon. The Bears featured young Tim Stevens! and Brad Sharidan. The rest were ew to me.

Plenty of players on both sides caught my eye. MoM was a 17 old year winger on the Bearsright edge.

Final score 56-6 to the Bears but there were some lads in the Royals team that were excellent too.
