BroncoFan Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Well their Womens SL team have struggled this season but I watched the Academy team beat a very good Leeds Rhinos side. They have some top players coming through so It’s not as bleak for the Wigan Warriors Women as I thought. Everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon
Futtocks Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Wigan's WSL side is not long-established and it shows, so it's good to know the next generation are shaping up well. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Going pretty well so far today. Half-time York 16 Wigan 10. Edit: It`s been hard to judge the attitude of the Wigan club to their women`s team. Maybe a bit more encouraging long-term than it appeared. One problem is not being able to generate interest with games at the DW.
