Kenya will have to win by nine points in Sunday’s rematch after going down 22-14 in the first-ever Women’s World Cup qualifier in Africa on Thursday afternoon, at the NY Centre in Nairobi. The victors on aggregate will go on to represent the continent in the inaugural 2025 World Series.

Ended with an 8-0 win to Kenya, which means Nigeria go through to the 2025 World Series where they will play the winner of the Greece/Ireland play-off, the winner of the Americas qualifying tournament and the Asia Pacific runner up for a place in the 2026 World Cup. Incredibly narrow margin of qualification - Kenya got two drop goals, a third would have put them through.
