fevnut has published ‘Fev v Dewsbury Rams squads’.

We find it quite difficult to see the potential shape of the teams in the form in which the clubs publish the squads, so we choose to use guesswork based on last week’s teams to set them out in the traditional manner running from fullback to loose forward and then subs.

We also include a chart showing the leading scorers for both teams.

Looking at the squads, Fev look to have a strong line-up; Dewsbury on the other hand, have made around nine changes and for me it has to be a big defensive match for us. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be strong, or fit enough to withstand a Rovets onslaught.

Featherstone 56-10 Dewsbury

FTS: Sam Day

MoM: Dan Coates

Att: 1174

Wasn't great today and the half time abandonment put us out of our misery at 22-0 down.

Dewsbury man of the match was Dale Ferguson, purely for his haircut - modelled on Anthony Kaufusi and the Dolphins in the NRL.

How do you mean …put us out of our misery? Two of their tries were from forward passes and playing down hill in the second half, we’d have taken them apart, surely? It’s just that the power cut and abandonment spoilt our show!
