Bradford Bulls have confirmed four more signings for the 2015 season – as James Lowes has tied down four of the club’s hottest academy prospects.
Alex Mellor and Nathan Conroy have both signed one-year extensions to remain with the club in 2015, whilst forward Sam Bates and half-back Adam Brook have penned two year deals to stay with the Bulls until the end of 2016 at least.
Three of the four players have already featured for the Bulls in Super League this year, with Brook yet to play. And Lowes confirmed that he was delighted to get all four tied down, as he continues to push the club’s academy to new heights.
“It’s good; we’re working hard to try and promote our youth. We’re keen to get our academy back to where it was a few years ago – so I’m pleased the young boys have jumped back on there with us,” Lowes said.
“Alex Mellor has had a couple of hits in the first team and I’ve been really impressed with what he’s done. Nathan Conroy has impressed greatly in the 19s too and he’ll be a good foil for Adam O’Brien next year.”
