
David Shillington will not be joining Wakefield in 2017 despite reports linking him with a move to Belle Vue.
The former Australia international was offered around to clubs in the UK, including the Wildcats, as Gold Coast look to make plans for life without Shillington next year.
But it is TotalRL’s understanding that the 33-year-old has opted against a move to the United Kingdom, and is keen to remain in Australia.
