Huddersfield Giants’ injury woe has continued, with Craig Huby ruled out for at least 12 weeks after tearing his pectoral.
The forward suffered the injury in last week’s defeat to Wigan and was seen leaving the ground using a sling.
“He’ll be having surgery on Wednesday and it will be a 12-weeker plus,” said head coach Paul Anderson.

Huby only returned to action on Good Friday having missed the start of the season with a wrist elbow injury. The 29-year-old had been in impressive form since, but the Giants will have to make do without another forward, with Larne Patrick now also off their books having joined Castleford.
In better news, Eorl Crabtree will play in Friday’s clash with Leeds Rhinos after recovering from injury while Gene Ormesby will also play.
