
Hull Kingston Rovers have signed Australian centre Andrew Heffernan from Penrith Panthers.
The 21-year-old has found NRL opportunities hard to come by at the Panthers, resulting in his move to Rovers in search of game time.
Described as a ‘versatile playmaker’ Heffernan is content at playing in the halves, fullback or centre, however it is beleived he will be utilisied predominantly as a centre under Tim Sheens. “I’m really excited about having the opportunity to play for such a proud club with a rich history.

He becomes the second signing of the day for Rovers, joining Huddersfield halfback Jamie Ellis.
