Leigh Centurions have signed Catalans Dragons hooker Eloi Pelissier, according to the man himself.
The 25-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the newly promoted side having been released by the Dragons at the end of the year. He made over 150 appearances for the club since his debut in 2011.
Speaking to the French paper, L’Independant, Pelissier said: “It’s a big challenge for me to overcome. And I’m already very excited to join this ambitious club.”
Pelissier will become Leigh’s third signing for their first year back in Super League, following Catalans team-mates Glenn Stewart and Antoni Maria.
The deal has yet to be formally confirmed by the Centurions, however an announcement is expected imminently.
