Featherstone Lions have risen from sixth to third in the Kingstone Press National Conference League’s First Division following a 40-12 victory last night at neighbours Normanton Knights.
The Lions are in the promotion frame courtesy of a fifth successive win; the Knights, meanwhile, have lost five of their last six fixtures and remain fifth from bottom of the section.
