Jonny Lomax made his first appearance in over a year as he featured for St Helens’ reserves in their victory over Warrington.
The Saints star played 25 minutes as his comeback trail picked up pace, with the Saints side, featuring the likes of Travis Burns and Joe Greenwood, defeating Warrington 48-18.

Lomax’s return had apparently hit a roadblock after picking up an ankle injury in training, but the 25-year-old is, in fact, beginning to put his injury nightmare behind him.
His return will be a welcome boost for Keiron Cunningham, who is currently without a number of his senior back-line members, including Mark Percival, Tommy Makinson and Adam Swift.
Saints are currently sixth in Super League and have already suffered five defeats this year ahead of their clash with Leeds on Friday.
