St Helens coach Keiron Cunningham has revealed that Jonny Lomax is inching closer to a return to first-team action - describing him as being "not far off" in his quest to get back playing.
Lomax has not played in a first team match for the Saints since last March, having spent the last two years plagued with serious knee problems.
