Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has named his squad to take on Featherstone Rovers in their first pre-season friendly on Sunday – with a number of new faces set to debut.
Former Warrington captain Joel Monaghan will be handed his first appearance as a Castleford player, as will fellow new recruits Ryan Hampshire, Ben Crooks, Jy Hitchcox and Greg Minikin.
Two academy players, Declan Sheehan and Brandon Douglas, are also included, with young first teamers Will Maher, Tom Holmes, Keiran Gill, Ash Robson and Brandon Westeran all getting their chance to impress.
