Castleford hooker Scott Moore and Wakefield rake Paul McShane have swapped clubs.

McShane has signed a two and a half year deal with Castleford until the end of the 2017 season, whilst Moore signs up at Belle Vue as the other part of the swap deal.

Total Rugby League understands Moore could appear for the Wildcats this Sunday against Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Moore joined the Tigers on a two-year deal from London Broncos at the start of 2015 and has scored one try in 14 appearances.

Wakefield will be the former English international hooker’s sixth Super League club after stints at St Helens, HuddersfieldWidnes, London and the Tigers.

McShane has crossed for three tries in 22 appearances for Wakefield this season. The 25-year-old forward signed for the Wildcats in 2014 from Leeds Rhinos.
