A number of clubs keeping tabs on free-scoring Bradford winger

A host of Super League and Championship clubs are keeping an eye on young Bradford back Ethan Ryan.

The 20-year-old has been an instant success at the Provident Stadium since making his debut in March against London Broncos, scoring six tries in as many appearances so far this season.

Ryan is out of contract at the end of the 2016 season, with his recent performance against Whitehaven attracting further interest as he scored a hat-trick of well-taken tries. Ryan, who is equally adept on the wing or at centre, signed professional terms with the club last year.

The Bulls are likely to be keen on retaining the services of their promising star, with Ryan adding to an impressive backline that already features the likes of Kris Welham and Matty Blythe.

Bradford are rumoured to be losing numerous players at the end of the season, including Lee Gaskell, Danny Addy, Mitch Clark and Dale Ferguson, while Paul Clough has recently been linked with a move to Huddersfield too.

Should that be the case, Rohan Smith will have an extensive rebuilding job on his hands, albeit the club has made two particularly impressive signings since his arrival in the shape of Kieren Moss and Dane Chisholm, with both under contract for next season.
