Featherstone Rovers completed a disappointing Easter when they lost at home for the second time in a row, being well beaten today at GoodFellas Stadium 4-33 by Sheffield Eagles.
That result was the Eagles’ seventh straight Championship victory and sees them level on points with Bradford Bulls in third place in the Championship table with 14 points, six ahead of Featherstone, who would have expected to be in the top four at this stage of the season.
Leigh Centurions remain undefeated at the top of the table after defeating Workington 54-6, with Gareth Hock scoring two tries on his debut, while the Bulls won 16-30 at Dewsbury.
London Broncos move up to fourth place after defeating Batley 25-18 at The Hive.
